Tried this with the latest version of Wide Slide and tried inserting the code to have created, but don't work correct. The link is created, but is placed above the <div class="slide">.

Could you maybe create an updated version. This is how my code looks:

<?php if (isset($items) && sizeof($items) > 0):?>
<div id="fwslider<?php echo $module->id?>" class="fwslider" style="max-width:<?php echo $mwidth?>; margin:auto;">
<div class="slider_container">
<?php foreach ($items as $key => $img):?>
<?php if (isset($items[$key]) && $items[$key] != '' && $showReadmore):?>
<a <?php echo (isset($items[$key]) && $items[$key] != '') ? 'target="' . $items[$key] . '"' : '';?> href="<?php echo $items[$key];?>">
<?php endif; ?>
<div class="slide">
<!-- Slide image -->
<img src="<?php echo $img;?>">
<!-- /Slide image -->

<!-- Texts container -->
<div class="slide_content">
<div class="slide_content_wrap">
<?php if (isset($items[$key]) && $items[$key] != '' && $showCaption):?>
<!-- Text title -->
<h4 class="title"><?php echo $items[$key]?></h4>
<!-- /Text title -->
<?php endif; ?>
<?php if (isset($items[$key]) && $items[$key] != '' && $showDesc):?>
<!-- Text description -->
<p class="description"><?php echo $items[$key];?></p>
<!-- /Text description -->
<?php endif; ?>
<?php if (isset($items[$key]) && $items[$key] != '' && $showReadmore):?>
<!-- Learn more button -->
<a class="readmore" <?php echo (isset($items[$key]) && $items[$key] != '') ? 'target="' . $items[$key] . '"' : '';?> href="<?php echo $items[$key];?>"><?php echo $readmoreText?></a>
<!-- /Learn more button -->
<?php endif; ?>
</div>
</div>
<!-- /Texts container -->
</div>
<?php if (isset($items[$key]) && $items[$key] != '' && $showReadmore):?>
</a>
<?php endif; ?>
<?php endforeach;?>
</div>

You can do one of two things. You can just leave off the target of you can make it "self" Like this.

Wow, great! Many thanks for this really fast solution :-)

Could you explain me where I can change the target site? I would like to open the URL in the same tab.

Greetings from the middle of Germany
Dennis :-)

Hi Dennis,

I updated the file for you. Please replace this file:
modules/mod_wide_slide/tmpl/default.php

with the one attached. Unzip. The code is still linked to the read more, so make sure you have read set to yes.

Cheers
Dan

Hey guys,

I bought great Carve template with integrated Wide Slide. It's just awesome. I have just one little problem. I would like to link the whole image to an url. Not just the "read more" button. Can anyone help me? I do not find something where I can change it.

Thanks in advance and greetings from Germany
Dennis
